What is a Juice diet?

A juice diet (or fast) is a type of detox. A juice fast involves the short-term intake of raw vegetable and fruit juice and water only. While fasting using juice because it's a good source of vitamins and antioxidants you are also giving your digestive system a total break.

What are the benefits of doing a Juice diet?

Anyone who suffers with the following problems especially involving congestive conditions would greatly benefit from a juice diet:

Sinus,

Constipation,

Colds,

Indigestion,

Bronchitis,

Obesity,

Bloating and flatulence,

Acne and inflammatory skin problems,

Fatigue.

How does a juice diet work?

Generally, you will set the number of days before you start. 7, 10 or 14 days are most popular. Often, the first three days are the toughest. Your system will be detoxifying most over these days. You may get headaches and mild constipation, or you may not suffer at all. Plan your juices out and buy the fruit & vegetables in advance. You will need to add some probiotics to one or two juices and some super foods (see below) to get your protein and extra vitamins and minerals.
