There are many active components in Turmeric but the MAIN one is called Curcumin (also known as curcuminoids), and Macanta have very generously extracted the curcumin and put it in a capsule for us. Curcuma Longa, better known as Turmeric is the whole plant. There is 200mg of active curcumin and a little bit of black pepper in every capsule. The pepper helps to increase the absorption of the curcumin. Macanta Curcumin gives almost 100% uptake with every 200mg dosage, the actual figure is 95%.
