Maize meal is a meal ground from dried corn. Maize meal is high in nutrients and flavour because it's made out of not only the corn kernels but also the husk of the corn. This meal can be used as a gluten-free substitute to wheat flour. Maize meal is coarser than regular flour but can still be used for baking things like muffins and breads.
Simmer 3 parts water to 1 part meal and stir. Cook gently for 30 minutes. Please store in a cool, dry place away from direct light sources.
