When stomach acid is low, Betaine HCl can provide additional acidity to maximise digestion. Our Betaine HCl, in easy to swallow vegan capsules, activates in the stomach to help replenish stomach acid and promote more efficient digestion of protein as well as carbohydrate breakdown and fat absorption. Optimal levels of stomach acid are also necessary for the proper absorption of minerals such as calcium, magnesium and iron.
