Organic polenta is made from ground corn. It has a bright yellow colour and a slightly sweet taste. Especially popular in Italian cuisine, it's gluten-free and can be used for many purposes, for example as a substitute for breadcrubms or in baking.
Directions:
Bring salted water to the boil. Pour polenta slowly into boiling water, whisking constantly until all polenta is stirred in, with no lumps. Reduce to simmer, whisking often, until polenta starts to thicken, 30 to 40 minutes. Polenta mixture should still be slightly loose. Please store in a cool, dry place away from direct light sources.
