Bergamot essential oil is used in aromatherapy for its uplifting and stress-relieving properties. It is also used to balance mood swings, fatigue, anxiety, and nervous tension. 

For massage use, dilute bergamot with a carrier oil before applying it to the skin. Bergamot essential oil should not be taken orally or applied to broken or irritated skin.
