Having been so ill with a respiratory tract infection/ pneumonia and on the 3rd dose of antibiotics and steroids a friend told me about ivy thyme. As I was so so sick n getting it so hard to breathe very scary. I got my husband to get me the Ivy thyme in the health shop. I took 15 drops I. A small shot glass of hot water 4 times a day and find relief already though afraid to get too excited!! I def will be keeping this product in my house going forward!!

I have been so ill for nearly 3 weeks with lower respiratory tract infection/ pneumonia was on 3rd lot of antibiotics and 3rd lot of steroids. My breathing was horrendous and so scary. A friend recommended Ivy thyme . My husband got it yesterday and already the difference is remarkable afraid to get too excited but thankfully my breathing is so much better. I put 15 drops in a shop glass of hot warm water and drank it off 4 times yesterday n 4 so far today as per recommendation by health shop. Will be keeping Ivy thyme in the press from now on for all the family ..

I'm only taking vogel ivy thyme for 2 days and I already feel a big difference .. I usually always and up on antibiotics for chest infections and so far I'm well impressed with this product ...

A. Vogel Ivy Thyme Complex

This unique combination of herbs is one of Alfred Vogel’s original remedies. Ivy, thyme and liquorice are all familiar to many of us as herbal remedies.

Thyme is used in cooking all round the world and is also used as a herbal remedy for a number of conditions. Liquorice is recognised as a tasty treat. It is part of many Eastern dishes, drinks and sweets and has been used traditionally in both Chinese and European medicine.

Benefits:

  • Due to the essential oil, the herb contains bronchial antispasmodic and expectorant properties which makes it useful in treatment of chronic as well as acute bronchitis, upper respiratory tract inflammation, and whooping cough.
  • Ivy thyme can also enhance the functioning of the bronchi’s cilia, also affecting the bronchial mucosa or lifting phlegm off the chest.
  • Thyme’s terpenoids provide the herb with its expectorant properties while the flavonoids in the herb provide thyme with its spasmolytic effects.

Ingredients:
Contains the tinctures of fresh Hedera helix (ivy) herb 40%, Thymus vulgaris (Thyme) herb 35%, Glycyrrhiza glabra (Sweet Root) dried root 24.875%, Aniseed Essential Oil 0.075%, Eucalyptus Essential Oil 0.05% Extracted in alcohol: 48% v/v.

Directions: 
Adults: 15 drops in a little water, 2 to 3 times daily.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age in a little water, 2 to 3 times daily.
This product is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
